History: Very little is known of Marnin but tale and rumor, reaching back for many decades. Some tales link him to Jack, A.G., and many other powerful entities, and some yet link him to the Devourer himself. The truth is completely unknown.
Appearance: A relatively short man with blonde hair and large pink eyes. While not very imposing at first sight, those around him for too long can only describe him as "frightening." This may be due in part to the fact that he doesn't appear to ever blink.
Personality: Quiet, nihilistic, curious, greedy for knowledge. He does not appear to display any emotion on his face other than the widening of his eyes. He is normally very reserved, but will do anything to achieve what he desires. Those who see him when he acts upon his desires are struck with a very primal fear at his impassive ruthlessness.

Abilities: Beyond grandmaster level of skill in Shaolin style Kung Fu. Is adept at spending as little energy as possible to achieve a desired goal--such as hitting pressure points or finding minute structural weaknesses in an obstacle.
Is an expert magician with a vast knowledge of rituals and ancient spells. Though he has many abilities--many of which none have ever seen--his most notable one is the power to take energy, abilities, and immaterial Objects from others.
