Name: Lucien Romanov III.
Alias(es): The Artificier.
Gender: Male.
Age: 208.
History: Little is known. Lucien was a master engineer in the 1800s, as well as a wealthy aristocrat. Through unknown means, he came across blueprints and schematics that belonged to Them. Their designs twisted his mind, and set him on an insane quest to become perfect.
Following the blueprints, he began performing horrific surgeries on himself that continue to this day, replacing his bones a little at a time with gleaming metal, treated with Their secret methods to harden and sharpen it unimaginably. What state of being he exists in now cannot readily be explained, but there is one name that all have come to know him by: The Artificier.
Appearance: The Artificier has long white hair that falls most of the way down to his back. He himself is a grotesque mixture of flesh and metal. He has no lower jawbone, and much of his skull has become like Their metal. His skin hangs off him in rags, terminating in ragged edges just below his cheekbones. His body is similar- bone merges with metal, skin hanging disgustingly from his frame. His hands have become metal claws, so sharp they can slice through diamonds. Where his skin has fallen away completely, one can see bone and steel melted together, an unholy marriage of humanity and monstrosity.
Personality: Twisted and insane from the pain of his ongoing surgeries, The Artificier is obsessed with perfecting himself. He is now powered solely by the Objects, and collects them slavishly. He has no regard for human life. While intelligent in a very insane way, the Artificier's greatest mental attribute is his knowledge. Throughout his life, he has had almost every Object, and his knowledge of Them and Him and the Reunion is second only to that of the Hollow Man himself.
Objects: He never has one for very long. He uses them as power sources, but after a while he discards it in favor of a new one. It isn't known why he needs different Objects.
Weapons: His hands, which are now hideous razor-sharp metal claws.
Abilities: Augmented by his twisted body, the Artificier is fast and powerful, able to rip a man in two with his bare hands. Aside from his heightened physical abilities, he has certain other powers whose nature cannot be described, gruesomely real as the products of those abilities may be.
